What does a dumpster rental price include?

Which extra charges can apply?
Six charges can be added to a dumpster rental, and each one happens only if a specific thing happens. Overage is $75 per ton over the included weight. Extra days are $25 each. Mattresses, tires and Freon appliances are $50 each. The trip fee is $125, and same-day rush delivery is $50.

What does a full bill look like?
A full bill is the quoted price plus only the charges that happened. Example: a 20-yard kept 9 days with 6,800 lb of debris and one old fridge. That adds 2 extra days ($50), 800 lb of overage ($30) and one Freon appliance ($50). The extras total $130 on top of the quote.
The weight comes from the landfill's certified scale ticket, which is attached to the invoice. The invoice is emailed 3 to 5 business days after pickup.

National median published prices in 2026 were about $350 for a 10-yard, $380 for a 15-yard, $449 for a 20-yard, $555 for a 30-yard and $650 for a 40-yard. These come from 3,060 prices that dumpster companies posted online between August 15 and September 27, 2026. They are national medians, not our prices.

When you compare quotes, compare the included tons and the overage rate, not just the price. A lower price with 1 ton included can cost more by the end of a roofing job than a higher price with 3 tons.
What makes a dumpster cost more or less?
The size you pick sets the base price, which is a seasonal flat rate for that size. Heavy debris and longer rentals add to the bill only through overage and extra days, both at fixed rates. A clean load of only concrete or only dirt qualifies for clean-fill pricing.

Why don't you list a price on the website?
Our base prices are seasonal flat rates, so the right number is the one we quote on the day you book. That quote names everything: size, 7 days, delivery, pickup and the included tons. The extra-charge rates on this page do not change with the season.
Can other charges show up on the final bill?
The charges that can be added to your quote are the ones listed on this page: weight over the included tons, extra days, $50 item fees, the $125 trip fee and the $50 same-day rush fee.
What is the cheapest way to rent a dumpster?
Pick the size that fits the debris, keep heavy debris separate, and finish within 7 days. Most surprise costs come from overweight loads and second hauls, not the base price. A 10-yard for a small job, or a clean concrete-only load in a 10 or 15-yard, keeps the bill lowest.
Do I pay for the dumpster before or after?
The quoted price is agreed before delivery. Charges that depend on what happens during the rental, like overage or extra days, are on the final invoice. That invoice is emailed 3 to 5 business days after pickup, with the scale ticket attached.
Does my address change the quote?
