Which Midland County areas do we serve?
We serve the City of Midland, including ZIPs 79701 and 79705 and the rest of Midland's ZIP codes, plus Greenwood and other unincorporated areas of Midland County. Rural homes, ranches, shops and lease sites are served by address. Send a GPS pin when a place has no street number.
- Midland, 79701 and 79705
- Greenwood and other unincorporated areas
- Ranches and homes on county roads
- Oilfield shops and lease sites
The Midland city page covers the hauler permit, the city's own 30-yard containers, alley service and drop-off sites. Greenwood, ranch roads and lease sites outside the city are covered here instead.
Where does Midland County trash go?
The City of Midland Landfill, at 7901 E. Garden City Highway, is the disposal site we could verify in Midland County. The state lists it as the City of Midland Municipal Solid Waste Landfill, TCEQ Permit 1605B. Paid and commercial loads must go there, not to the citizens station.
County residents outside city limits can't use the Smith Road citizens station, since it is open to city residents only. The landfill does not publish gate rates, so call 432-685-3431 before self-hauling. Hours and the Monday caveat are on the Midland page.

Can a dumpster go on a county road in Midland County?
We could not find a published Midland County rule for roll-off dumpsters on unincorporated roads or in the right-of-way. Call Midland County before placing one there. Keeping the bin on your own Greenwood or ranch property, off the county road, leaves no road question to settle.
If you have an HOA or a landlord, check with them as well. The placement guide shows how much length and overhead room a Midland County drop needs.
What changes a rental outside Midland city limits?
Ground, gates and addresses change a rural Midland County rental the most. A loaded roll-off truck needs firm ground and a straight approach. Text us a GPS pin and gate code with the booking. If the driver meets a locked gate or a blocked pad, the $125 trip fee applies.
For caliche pads, dirt or broken concrete, use a 10 or 15-yard filled halfway. See concrete and dirt dumpsters.
What goes where in Midland County?

Midland County dumpster rental questions
Do you deliver roll-off dumpsters to Greenwood?
We deliver to Greenwood and other unincorporated areas of Midland County when the truck has a firm, straight path in. Give us the address or a GPS pin, plus any gate code. The price, the 7 days and the included tons work the same as inside Midland.
Can I use the Midland citizens station if I live outside the city?
The Citizens Collection Station on Smith Road is open to City of Midland residents only. If you live in Greenwood or elsewhere in the county, plan on the City of Midland Landfill instead. Call the landfill at 432-685-3431 to ask about rates before you load a trailer.
Can a dumpster sit on a caliche pad at a Midland County lease site?
A packed caliche pad is a good base for a roll-off, as long as the truck can back onto it in a straight line. Pallets, hose and packaging from the lease fit a 20 or 30-yard. If the job is scraping the pad itself, the caliche goes only in a 10 or 15-yard, filled halfway up the walls.
Is there a county landfill separate from the Midland city landfill?
The landfill we could verify in Midland County is the one the state lists as the City of Midland Municipal Solid Waste Landfill, TCEQ Permit 1605B. It sits at 7901 E. Garden City Highway. Hours and the hauler permit rules are on the Midland page.
