Where does Andrews County trash go?

The City of Andrews landfill is the disposal site we could verify in Andrews County. It is a TCEQ arid-exempt landfill with a Type I pit for household and commercial trash and a Type IV pit for construction and demolition debris. Both pits carry a 20-ton daily limit.

The free-disposal rule there is tied to a city water bill. Rural residents should call 432-523-4820 before self-hauling. Hours, rates and the Freon rule are on the Andrews page.

Can a dumpster go on a county road in Andrews County?

We could not find a published Andrews County rule for roll-off dumpsters on county roads or in the right-of-way. Call the Andrews County offices before placing one there. A drop spot inside your own fence line, back from the county road, keeps the bin out of oilfield traffic.

On leased land, the landowner or operator decides where the bin may sit. Check the placement guide for the length and overhead room an Andrews County drop needs.

What changes a rental out in the county?

Road surface and gates change a rural rental the most. Andrews County has produced oil since 1929, and lease roads and gated yards are part of the map. A loaded truck needs firm ground. Text a GPS pin and the gate code for any Andrews County lease or ranch drop.

The county gets about 14 inches of rain a year. After a hard rain, a dirt road can soften, so call us before delivery day.

What goes where in Andrews County?

Rural Andrews County renters share one verified disposal site, the City of Andrews landfill, and its free-disposal rule needs a city water bill. Without one, expect $55 per ton with a $10 minimum. City bulk pickup serves only city sanitation customers, so it does not reach ranches and lease sites.

How do our trucks reach rural Andrews County?

Our trucks reach Andrews County on US 385, north from Odessa. In Andrews, SH 115 heads southwest toward Kermit and Wink, and SH 176 also meets US 385 in town. Most ranch and lease drops sit off one of those roads, so name the highway and the county road when you book.

Waste Control Specialists runs a licensed radioactive waste site of about 14,000 acres in the west of the county. It is not a public drop-off, so ordinary debris still goes to the city landfill or a roll-off.

Andrews County dumpster rental questions

Do you deliver to rural Andrews County addresses outside the city?

We deliver to ranches, homes and shops outside Andrews when the roll-off truck has a firm, straight road in. Give us the address or GPS pin, directions from the nearest highway and any gate code. A locked ranch gate on delivery day brings the $125 trip fee.

Can county residents outside Andrews city limits dump at the city landfill for free?

The City of Andrews ties its no-fee disposal to trash from a primary residence, brought with a current city water bill and ID. If your home is not on city water, expect to pay the posted rate. Call the city at 432-523-4820 to check before you load a trailer.

Is there one dumpster big enough for a large Andrews County shop teardown?

The 40-yard dumpster is the biggest roll-off we haul: about 22 × 7.5 × 8 feet outside, with 5 tons and 7 days included. It suits bulky, light teardown debris on a site with a long, firm approach. A concrete slab or caliche from the same job goes in a separate 10 or 15-yard. See the 40-yard dumpster.

What size dumpster fits a caliche pad or lease-site cleanup in Andrews County?

Caliche, dirt and broken concrete are heavy debris, so they go only in a 10 or 15-yard dumpster, filled halfway up the walls. Light lease-site trash like pallets, hose and packaging fits a 20 or 30-yard. See concrete and dirt dumpsters.
